Ronald Lester Parker's Obituary
Ronald Lester Parker, age 83 of Lewes, DE, formerly of York, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Beebe Healthcare, in Lewes, DE. He was born on December 27, 1936 in Lancaster, PA, son of the late John L. and Louise (Statler) Parker.
Ron was a veteran and proudly served in the Army. He retired from Caterpillar and moved to Delaware over 35 years ago. Ronnie loved to spend time with his wonderful circle of friends, playing pool, listening, and singing karaoke, and cutting a rug on the dance floor. He earned the name "Rocking Ronnie" Ronnie also enjoyed the occasional run to Dover with his two sidekicks, better known as "The Three Musketeers". He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his four sisters and one brother. He is survived by his two daughters; Shelby Blessing and her husband Donnie of PA and Brenda Lyle and her husband Brian of PA; his five grandchildren: Vanessa Blessing, Shane Blessing, Travis Lyle, Tanya Cruz, and Lyndsey Lyle; his thirteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. All from York, PA.
Due to world events, there will be no formal services at this time. A celebration of Ronald's life will be held at a later date.
