Oh this is such a sad news. I had preveliage to work under Ron Nardi straight out of college. He was President and Managing Director of GM India. He started GM in India He bulit the plant He launched first ever luxury car Opel Astra in India. He shaped me and my career. He was full or energy it was such fun working for him. While he had immense experience in motor business but he never let us feel we were raw. He was true family man he had pics of his family in his office. may God Rest his soul in peace. I met Ron last summer, just once unfortunately. Being a car guy, i was fortunate that my good neighbors near Lewes connected Ron and I for a few hour visit. I could have stayed all day listening to his stories and adventures. It was an honor to meet such a person with a side of my car enthusiasm that I hadn't been fulfilled to that point. Sadly, despite his insistence that we meet up again, it never could be arranged. But thank you Ron and Phyliss for the few hours I did get to enjoy your company. It's a memory I'll cherish forever!

Sad to hear about the loss of a great man.
I express my sincere sympathy and condolences to the family.
Ron was my boss when he was the Managing Director and Chairman of GM Egypt. Working for him was a milestone in my career, he helped me growing in my job and shaped my career going forward. Never forgot how a cheerful leader he was, he always used to say "Be Peachy".
I pray that God rest his soul in peace

Sorry to learn of Ron’s death, not surprised he went home to Jesus on Easter Sunday. I think of you both when I make cookies and listen to his song. Grieving along side you.

I could only imagine what a wonderful man Lisa's dad must've been, and what a great family she must have, from all that she's told me. And because of the exceptional human being she is. Reading Mr. Nardi's obituary makes my heart swell with happiness at a life well lived, by a man who obviously touched the lives of so many others.
