Ronald C. Lippincott, Ph.D
Ron Lippincott, 65, died suddenly on July 7, 2012 at his home at the Retreat at Love Creek in Lewes, DE.
Ron was born May 25, 1947. He attended Rutgers University for his undergraduate studies and later received his Ph.D in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He worked for the Governor of New Jersey before beginning his teaching career, most of which was spent at the University of Baltimore, where he specialized in Health Care and Organizational Management. Later, Ron worked for the Maryland Department of Budget and Management, Office of Capital Budgeting as a Budget Analyst, retiring in 2009.
Ron is survived by his life partner, Christine Eggert; his mother, Jane Rulon of New Jersey; his half-brother, Donald Rulon and his half-sister, Joan Johnson, also of New Jersey.
Ron was a loving and caring partner to Christine. He was a passionate reader about foreign affairs, domestic politics and detective novels. He was continually amazed, about what he learned through his constant reading, be it science, mathematics, politics, sociology or simply what he observed in the world.
Ron also enjoyed the simplicity and love of his loyal dog, Dickens and his zany cat, Oliver.

The memorial service for Ron Lippincott will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, September 8 in the Windows on the Green Ballroom in the Baywood Greens Golf Clubhouse in Long Neck, Delaware (Near Lewes and Rehoboth). A luncheon for Ron’s friends and family will be held after the service at the same location. The address of Baywood Greens is:

Route 50 East across Bay Bridge. Follow to Route 404 East. Continue on Route 404/Route 18 to Route 113. Turn right on Route 113 (South) and follow to Route 24. At Route 24 in Millsboro turn left (East) and travel approximately 8 miles. The entrance to Baywood Greens will be on your right.
