Ronald Henry Johnson's Obituary
Ronald Henry Johnson, age 79 of Dewey Beach, DE passed away peacefully with his wife and daughter by his side, on Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at Delaware Hospice Center, in Milford, DE. He was born on October 5, 1940 in Muskegon, MI, son of the late Russell and Dorothy Johnson.
Mr. Johnson graduated from Augustana Lutheran College in Rock Island, IL. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1962 to 1964. Mr. Johnson made his career as a Financial Manager for over 29 years, working at the Department of the Army at the Pentagon and 12 years in the Army Audit. During his life you could find him playing racquetball or umpiring for little league baseball games. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Ronald Johnson and his older brother, David Russell Johnson. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Johnson; his daughter, Julie Johnson; his brother, Richard Johnson; and many nieces, nephews, and sisters and brothers in law who loved him.
Services will be held at a later date.
