He was born on June 13. 1943 in Reading, PA to John and Caroline Ferraro where he was a member of Holy Rosary Church. He graduated from Reading High School in 1961 and attended McCann School of Business and Technology. Ron went to work at Narrow Fabric in Reading, PA in 1961 directly from high school and worked there until his retirement. He Started in the factory and worked his self-up the ladder to a top salesman. Ron enjoyed playing bugle as a young boy and proudly displayed it in his curio cabinet. He began in the West Reading Police Cadet Drum Corps and then joined the Reading Buccaneers from 1959 until 1971.
Ron moved to Rehoboth Beach, DE in 2010 and later settled in Milton, Delaware closer to friends. His favorite things in life were his loving cat Nicky which gave him extreme love and joy. His passion was looking at, and purchasing, automobiles. He loved his home and frequently redecorated it; we joked that Helen Keller could have never lived there. Ron made a small group of loyal friends while at the beach. They enjoyed sharing dinners and time together with many laughs, usually from Ron’s many jokes. He was a loving, loyal friend and will be deeply missed. Sometimes God sends an angel in disguise, and that was our Ron.
