Ron was a man’s man who didn’t suffer fools lightly. A hard worker loyal to his family, country, and good friends. Never late, extremely generous with his time and resources and a big soft spot for Dachshunds. He overcame several major injuries and health issues during his life, except for this last one. Yet he never complained and just focused on the silver lining of the clouds that hung over him. I and many others will sorely miss him, as he will miss the love of his life, his wife Patti. Karen and I extend our sincere condolences to his long list of friends, and especially to his family.
As many of you know, he was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. I’ve seen and taken many pictures of him and his trophy fish but have only seen a few of him smiling. Maybe he just figured it’s no big deal. Smile or no smile, his friendship was a big deal to me, and this is how I will remember him.
