Roger Dennis Sullivan "Denny"'s Obituary
Roger Dennis Sullivan, "Denny", age 69, of Bridgeville, DE, passed away at home on Saturday, August 11, 2018. He was born in Martinsburg, WV, on December 9, 1948, son of the late Clyde Timothy and Florence Lavada Sullivan.
Mr. Sullivan proudly served in the United States Navy. He made his career as a Technician First Class for Washington Gas Light Company for 29 years. On October 24, 1980, he married the love of his life, Marlene Adams Sullivan. In his spare time, he loved spending time with his family and enjoying the outdoors. He had a passion for music, photography, sports, landscaping, and making those around him laugh. He was the true definition of a family man.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Marlene Sullivan of Bridgeville, DE; his son Lance Sullivan, his daughter Lindsay Tuchman and her husband Jeremy, his grandson Bennett Tuchman all of Eldersburg, MD; his brother Timothy Sullivan and his wife Nancy of Sharps Chapel, TN; his sisters, Linda Taylor and her husband Frank of Riverdale, MD and Pamela Sullivan of Bridgeville, DE; his father and mother in law, Cecil and Bobbie Adams of Jessup, MD; his wife's three brothers and their wives; and his beloved nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Sullivan was preceded in death by his brother Keith Carl Sullivan.
Services will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Sullivan's name to the American Diabetes Association at 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900, Arlington, VA 22202.
