Roger Lee Canard's Obituary
Roger Lee Canard, age 71, of Lewes, DE passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at his home. He was born on January 7, 1944 in Washington DC, son of the late James E. and Rita Virginia (Pearson) Canard.
Mr. Canard graduated from General Motors Automotive Mechanic School. He enjoyed a longtime career as an Auto Mechanic owning Mobile Service Stations until he retired. He was a family man, an avid collector and a sports enthusiast. He was also a member of the Rotary Club of Potomac Maryland. Mr. Canard will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Mr. Canard is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Betzi Medis-Canard of Lewes, DE; two daughters: Cathleen Canard Pasquariello and her husband Aldo Pasquariello of Bethesda, MD and Elizabeth Canard Rasin and her husband James Vaclav of Middletown, DE; a son, John Russell Canard and his wife Emily Kathryn of Chevy Chase, MD; a brother, James Edward Canard and his wife Patricia Watkins Canard of Berlin, MD; a sister-in-law, Kymberly Medis Alvarado of Lewes, DE; five granddaughters: Alexandra Elizabeth and Taylor Cathleen Pasquariello both of Bethesda, MD, Claire Ann Rasin of Middletown, DE, Palmer Kathryn and Crosby Margaret Canard both of Chevy Chase, MD; four grandsons: Riley, Connor, Logan and Dylan Vaclav Rasin all of Middletown, DE.
A Celebration of Mr. Canard's Life will be held at a later date.
