Roderic Justin Pope's Obituary
Roderic Justin Pope, age 41, of Georgetown, DE, died suddenly on Saturday, December 12, 2009, in Georgetown, as a result of a tragic car fire. He was born March 1, 1968 in Derby, CT.
Mr. Pope worked in construction, primarily as a contractor. He enjoyed family, animals and good humor.
He is survived by his father James C. Pope II and his wife Ellen Brett of Lewes; his mother Patricia McWilliams of Colorado Springs, CO; and three brothers: Christopher Pope of Livermore, CA, Gregory Pope and his wife Sandra Reyes of Lewes and Jonathan Pope of Colorado.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 19, 11:00 AM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Fellowship Health Resources, 12649 DuPont Blvd., Ellendale, DE 19941.
