Roberto Rios Rosado's Obituary
Roberto Rios Rosado, age 48 of Milford, DE, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023, at his home. He was born on November 14, 1974, in Paterson, NJ, son of Aurea Esther Rosado and the late Luis Israel Rios.
Roberto made a career in landscaping, but really was a jack of all trades; he could do anything. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed being in nature, particularly fishing with his nephew, Pete, and his fishing buddy, Sean. He had an ability to make others happy. Roberto loved to joke and make people laugh, and his presence lifted the energy of any room. He was a movie buff and a die-hard Dallas Cowboys football fan – something he and his brother-in-law never saw eye to eye on, his brother-in-law being a faithful Philadelphia Eagles fan. Roberto loved to give him a hard time every football season, but their love for each other was never in question. His greatest loves were his family and friends, and time spent with them was what he cherished most in the world. He was a loving and devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend who will be forever missed by everyone who knew him.
In addition to his father, Roberto was preceded in death by his brother, Ruben Rodriguez; and his infant niece, Chloe Pollard. He is survived by his mother, Aurea Esther Rosado; his siblings: Maria Rodriguez, Norma Rodriguez, Orlando Rios, Albert Rios, Sonia Rios-Peck (David Scott Peck, III), and Lissette Rios (Rafael Figueroa); and his many nieces and nephews.
