Robert K. Williams' Obituary
Robert K. Williams, age 74 of Rehoboth Beach, DE, passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021. He was born on February 5, 1947, in Wilmington, DE, son of the late Frederick, Jr. and Dorothy (Roe) Williams.
Robert grew up in Wilmington, where he graduated from Brandywine High School, Class of 1965. He enjoyed playing baseball and golf, and loved family trips every summer to Rehoboth Beach, visiting his grandmother's bed and breakfast. Following graduation, Robert honorably served in the United States Navy from1966 until 1969, completing two tours in Vietnam, one in Dong Ha, the other in DaNang.
Robert retired to Rehoboth Beach in 1991 after a career as a Customer Service Representative for Hercules Corp. In his spare time, he loved going to the boardwalk, taking bike rides, and going to the beach. He was also a member of the Rehoboth Beach VFW. Above all, he enjoyed time spent with his family.
Robert is survived by his brother, Frederick Williams, lll of Reading, PA; his sister, Carole Westman (Robert) of Miramar Beach, FL; his nephews, Robert Westman (Leigh) of Miramar Beach, FL, and Ryan Westman (Anne) of Powell, OH; his great niece, Charlotte Westman; and his great nephew, Andrew Westman.
