Robert Paul Webb's Obituary
Robert Paul Webb, age 77, of Rehoboth Beach, DE, passed away peacefully at home, on Saturday, October 15, 2022. He was born on December 21, 1944, in Riverside, CA, the son of the late Wayne A. and Florence (Fanberg) Webb.
Mr. Webb earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Maryland, in Baltimore County, MD. He met and married the love of his life, Arla Joan Dean, and they would spend the next fifty-seven years raising a beautiful family and creating many precious memories. A proud veteran, he served his country as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Forces from 1964 to 1971. After his honorable discharge, his path would lead him to a lengthy career in automotive sales management, and then as a Systems Administrator for Jim Koons Management Company.
A man of many talents, Mr. Webb was an avid golfer, he spoke Russian; played the French horn; loved whitewater rafting, basketball, photography, reading, fast cars, and motorcycles. He never turned down an adventure. His love of life was contagious. Above all, he loved spending time with family and cherished the time spent with them and the many memories that they made. He was a proud and loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who had the good fortune to know him.
Mr. Webb is survived by his beloved wife of fifty-seven years, Arla J. (Dean) Webb of Rehoboth Beach, DE; his son, Robert Sean Webb (Linda); his daughter, Heather M. Hulen (Ron); his brother, James Webb (Joyce); and his sister, Joyce Ann Storms (Bob).
A private service for the family will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2022.
