Robert S. Wasson's Obituary
Robert S. Wasson, age 69, of Lincoln, DE, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 9, 2009. He was born May 6, 1940 in Philadelphia, PA, son of the late Samuel M. and Alice (Rainey) Wasson.
He is survived by his wife Virginia Lee Wasson; a son Robert Daniel Wasson; three daughters: Barbara L. Johnston and husband David, Wendy A. Wasson, and Kimberly G. Wasson; three grandchildren: Heather Wasson, Kristen Johnston and Zackary Quinones; a great-grandson Skyler Wasson; a sister Margaret A. Baker; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Wasson worked for Allen Foods of Harbeson for many years while also owning a trucking company, Robert Wasson Trucking of Lewes. He was a member of Eagles Nest Fellowship Church in Milton.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 12, 11:00 AM, at Eagles Nest Fellowship Church, 26633 Zion Church Road, Milton, DE with Pastor Mike Hargraves officiating. Friends may call at the church beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private. Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Lewes, DE.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Eagles Nest Fellowship Church Mission Fund at the above noted address.
