Dear Dr. Roberts, I had the privilage worked with you at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg WV. You were just the best surgeon Grant ever knew.everone was so sad when you retired. Altho you did more great things.You were always there when everyone needed you. I remember when you were written up in the Readers Digest for saving a man from an dying in an accident that would not under any normal circumstances have lived but you saved him miraculously. I loved your dry sense of humor. Kindness and caring ways. I know it has been such a long time since you have passed but I still think fondly of you and know you are sorely missed by Sandy your wonderful wife who I really like too. Both George Knight and I were saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. Roberts. He and Sandra were always so nice to visit with and to discuss Saddlebreds with. Our sympathies are with his family.

Uncle Doc will surely be missed! I always enjoyed his in depth conversations when we visited Rehoboth. He lived a full life that I admire and should be celebrated! I Love You Aunt Sandy!!!
