Robert C. Miller's Obituary
Robert C. Miller, 83, of Lewes, DE passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 7, 2010. He was born in Cincinnati, OH on June 16, 1927 son of the late Phillip C. and Ethel (Ferris) Miller.
Robert served in World War II and the Korean Conflict in three branches of the military. He earned his MBA from the University of Cincinnati and served as a financial advisor at General Electric throughout his career. Robert enjoyed photography, traveling with his family and watching the Cincinnati Reds and Notre Dame football. He retired to Lewes eight years ago.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Joan (Woeste) Miller; two sons: Douglas C. and his wife Maureen of Milton, DE and Edward M. and his wife Adrienne Nowaki of Los Angeles, CA; three grandchildren: Sarah Miller of Chicago, IL, Laura Miller and Jonathan Miller of Milton, DE.
Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 13, 2010 at St. Jude the Apostle Church, DE RT 1 at Five Points, Lewes, DE where friends may call one hour prior to mass at the church. Burial will be in Cincinnati, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Lewes Public Library, 111 Adams Ave., Lewes, DE 19958.
