Robert Charles Marshall's Obituary
Robert C. Marshall “Bob,” 72, from Oswego, New York and resident of Lewes, Delaware, passed away on October 10, 2016, surrounded by his family. Bob was the son of the late Kenneth and Theresa Marshall of Oswego, New York. He proudly served in the Army Aviation Unit in Vietnam from 1962 to 1965. He later worked as a Commodities Broker for Harmon and Associates from 1983-2010. Bob had a passion for the water, boats and his beloved hometown of Oswego, New York and Lake Ontario. He was also a devoted fan of the Chicago Bears.
Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Florence Marshall and loyal canine companion, Duke; daughters Susie (Toby) Bassett of Leesburg, VA; Mary (Keith) Mosier of Ashburn, VA; grandchildren, Nicholas Blanchard, Lindsey Bassett, Ryan Bassett, Nathan Mosier and Olivia Mosier; Sister, Carol (Joseph) Jadus of Oswego, NY; Brother, Tom (Katherine) Marshall of Oswego, NY; Aunt, Lillian Morgia; nephews and nieces, Mark (Cathy) Jadus and children Tyler and Courtney; Mike (Ann) Jadus and children Nick, Chris and Zack; Heather (Jeff) Colasurdo and children Gianna and Vinny; Roy Marshall and Andrew (Mallory) Marshall and many loving cousins and friends.
Bob was laid to rest at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro, Delaware. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation, in memory of Robert C. Marshall, Delaware Disabled American Veterans (DAV), 183 South Street, Camden, Delaware 19934.
