Robert G. Manson's Obituary
Robert Manson, 93, of Milton, DE, died on March 31, 2009 at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, DE after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. A native of the metropolitan area, he owned a successful business for 25 years, and was an active member of the Lions Club. He retired with his wife to Milton in 1978. Although he came late to the computer age, he explored the Internet, and converted over 1000 cassette tapes to CDs prior to his passing.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Etta; his son, John and his wife Deborah, and his grandchildren Joseph and Olivia of Bowie, MD; his daughter Stacy of Milton, DE; his sister Virginia Banks of College Park MD; his sister Shirley Townsend of Stevensville, MD; as well as countless other family and friends.
There will be no funeral, memorial service or wake. Interment will be private. Memorial gifts will be accepted gratefully by Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963. The family expresses its gratitude for their loving care of Robert during his illness.
