Robert Joseph Lombel “Bubba”, age 90 of Ocean View, DE, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023, at BridgingLife Hospice Facility at Northwest Hospital, in Randallstown, MD. He was born on November 8, 1932, in Pottsville, PA, son of Read Obituary
Mr. Lombel was Hiw I knew him first as the guy who would come play QB for the neighborhood football games at Pop Hudgins Park.
Later he coached me in baseball in the Boys and Girls Club.
In the Men’s he insisted we call him Bob.
His friendly smile would hide a fierce competitive fire.
Rest in Peace coach. I am sure the BHB&G club dads are waiting for you.
Met Bob thru Joe & Beverly. Was a great guy, always in his yard attending the beautiful flowers. Which Bob took pride in. My favorite memory of your dad was his wit. No matter what was said he had a response right back at you. Always make you laugh. He will be truly missed. Prayers to the family.
