Robert G. Kollet's Obituary
Robert G. Kollet , age 85, of Rehoboth Beach, DE, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 03, 2012, at Beebe Medical Center. He was born in West New York, NJ, on Sunday, September 04, 1927, son of the late Peter and Alice (Linkletter) Kollet.
Mr. Kollet was a resident of Rehoboth Beach since his retirement in 1983, as a self-employed salesman in the Wholesale Distribution industry. He served in the United States Marine Corp during WWII from 1944 to 1948, stationed in China.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and will be sorely missed by all the lives that he touched.
Mr. Kollet is survived by his wife of 62 years, Florence B. (Gerber) Kollet, one son; Robert J. Kollet and his wife Meakee of Odenton, MD, one daughter; Susan Prochnow and her husband Norman Finkle of Clayton, NC, three grandchildren; Gary, Greg and Karen, three great grandchildren; Caitlin, Morgan and Chloe and one brother, Ronald Kollet of Clifton, NJ.
