I've known Mike since Rehoboth High School. He was a couple of years older than me,but we always got along. When I got back home from the my adventures, I tended bar at the Sea Horse Restaurant and Mike was the liquor salesman. Mike was always a gentleman. Kind, considerate and funny. Loved to laugh at a good joke and tell them. May he RIP. ✌️💕🎶
Dancing to "good ole rock n roll with Mike!! He was fun to be with and one of the kindest and most thoughtful men I've known. I am proud to call him a dear friend.
My name is William Filer Jr. Mike Klingel was a name that was part of my life since I was a young boy. I remember going into Rehoboth Beach to the Boardwalk and driving past Mike’s house on Silver Lake Drive on the way home with my parents. My fondest memory of Mike is that on every September 11, he would call me and tell me he was glad I was still part of this earth. He never missed an anniversary of 9/11. I was unfortunately on the 63rd floor of the south tower the day it was struck. There’s a lot of things about Mike that I will miss, but for me personally 9/11 will never be the same. RIP.
