Robert W. Kilgore's Obituary
Robert W. Kilgore, age 82, of Lewes, DE, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2012, at his home. He was born in Chester, PA, on January 21, 1930. He was the son of the late Robert W. and Iris Kilgore. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife Dolores O'Meara Kilgore.
Mr. Kilgore retired from Boeing Helicopter in Ridley Park, PA; after 38 years of service. He was an avid fisherman, loved playing cards with friends and going to the slots. He loved the Delaware shore and enjoyed many years there.
Robert is survived by two sons, Robert Kilgore, of New York and David Kilgore of Glen Mills, PA; one brother Walt Kilgore, and grandson Brendan Kilgore.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 11am, at Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE ,where friends may call from 10-11am. Interment will be private.
