Robert "Robbie" J. Anderson's Obituary
Robert "Robbie" J. Anderson, age 51, of Rehoboth Beach, DE, died Monday, May 15, 2006, at his late residence. He was born May 5, 1955 in Wilmington, DE, son of the late Arthur John Anderson Jr. and Mildred "Midge" (Durham) Anderson Killinger of Lewes, DE.
Mr. Anderson was a flooring subcontractor for Anderson Carpet One. Robbie enjoyed spending time with his brother at the racetrack, and he loved his nieces and nephews dearly. He was an avid fan of the Eagles and football pools. He played in the Blue & Gold game in 1973 and he loved his dog "Fannie."
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother Stephen E. Anderson and his wife Lezlie of Rehoboth Beach; his sister, Dawn A. Fehrenbach and her partner Patrick M. Smith of Lewes; his sister-like cousin Karen Monaco of Wilmington, DE; his sister-in-law Toni Ann Reed of Newark, DE; his former wife, Joni Weber of Harbeson; his former mother-in-law Carol Weber of Harbeson; twin daughters, Allison & Rebecca of Lewes; nieces and nephews: Ashley and Jaime Anderson, Aryn Anderson, Kelly, Justin and Chase Fehrenbach, and Mackenzie Smith; and many loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother Arthur John Anderson III; his step-father Joseph Michael Killinger; and his pet dog "Fannie."
Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 19, 1 PM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE with Pastor Donald Schaefer officiating. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery, near Angola. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, May 18, 7-9 PM and on Friday, May 19 from 11 AM to 1 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Delaware SPCA Sussex Chapter, 326 South DuPont Highway, Georgetown, DE 19947.
