Robert Edward Hein's Obituary
Robert E. Hein "Bob", died at home on April 30, 2019, surrounded by those he loved. He was 90 years old. Bob was a native of Staten Island, New York, and a self-made man. He went from Army draftee to Lieutenant Colonel and from the mailroom to Vice President of Oakite Products Co.
Bob was a graduate of Wagner College in New York. He was proud of his Army service, his career, and his service to his community, but most of all his family, to whom he devoted himself. He was a faithful member of the Lewes Presbyterian Church. Bob was among the original residents of Cadbury, now the Moorings, in Lewes, and was the first president of the Residents Association there.
Bob is survived by Ellane, his wife of 65 years; two daughters: Joyce Hein of Odessa and Janice Glasscock and her husband, Sam of Lewes; and two grandchildren: Emma and Tad Glasscock.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 3, 2019 at 12:00 PM at the Lewes Presbyterian Church, 133 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE 19958. Interment will be private.
