Sandy, Jack and family, I am so sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. I want to share a memory with Sandy. As you know, I knew Bob prior to you coming into his life through mutual friends and of course, your parents restaurant. I remember when you moved back home and at some point in time during one of the many visits to The Lamp Post, I noticed a change in Bob… I asked him what was going on and why so smitten, his response was I know she is the one and I asked how he knew and he’s said she help me pound a case of beer on the beach! Of course I knew he was talking about you Sandy and I knew you two would have a wonderful life together. My regret is not keeping in touch over the years, other than a quick drive by wave or walk by “hey I wonder how Bob and Sandy are doing”? I watched the service and everything they said is true, Bob had an awesome sense of humor, a heart full of compassion, love of family and friends and a smile that could light the night sky. I will never forget our many days surf fishing and one extreme boat ride in from the jetty during a storm. Bob rest easy my friend.
