Rita A. Precht's Obituary
Rita Ann Precht, age 92, beloved wife of 50 years to the late Charles T. Precht and longtime resident of Catonsville, MD passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at the Milford Center in Milford, DE. She was born on January 31, 1922 in Scranton, PA, daughter of the late Patrick and Stella (Gilbride) Malarky.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Precht was preceded in death by her two cherished sisters, Mary Malarky and Beatrice Moran. She is survived by her two children: Charles Precht and his wife Kathleen of White Hills, AZ and Patricia Precht Schneider and her husband Barry of Lewes, DE; her six grandchildren and her one great-granddaughter and two great-grandsons.
Mrs. Precht was a woman of faith who loved her family and home. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and dear friend by all who knew her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at a later date at St. Ann’s Basilica in Scranton, PA, Mrs. Precht’s home town. Interment will be private at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the neighbors of Garden Ridge Road for their constant care given to Mrs. Precht.
