Rickie Alan Reitnauer's Obituary
Rickie "Rick" Reitnauer, age 65, of Lewes, DE passed away Monday, April 24, 2017. Rick was born in Pottstown, PA son of the late Cedric and Betty Reitnauer.
Rick grew up in Boyertown, PA and was owner/mechanic of an automobile service station in Amity, PA. Rick was employed by Doehler-Jarvis Corporation in Pottstown, PA as an automated robot mechanic, then McCulloch Chainsaw in Lake Havasu City, AZ.
Rick was a champion marksman, U.S. history buff, enjoyed restoring antique cars, and searching for hidden treasures with his metal detector on the Delaware beaches. He loved visiting, 'treating' and doting on his sweetie's children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren even after retiring to Lewes, DE. Rick believed in a Higher Power.
Rick's good-hearted, caring and loving ways will be dearly missed by all friends and family. Rick wished to be cremated. His love, Marty, will keep some of his ashes close to her heart. And per his wishes, the rest shall be scattered to the wind.
In addition to his parents, Rick was preceded in death by his brother Barry. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Martha "Marty" Hafer; Marty's daughters, Judy Haas of Bernville, PA and Brooke Richards of Los Gatos, CA, and her son Paul Koch Jr. of Campbell, CA; and their 10 children and 7 grandchildren; his sister Jody Ritter, of Boyertown, PA; his brother Dale Reitnauer of Fleetwood, PA; 1 nephew and 3 nieces.
