Richard Chambers "R.C." Barnard's Obituary
Richard Chambers "R.C." Barnard, age 50, of Rehoboth Beach, DE, died on Monday, August 20, 2012 at his late residence. He was born in Milford, DE on August 25, 1961, son of the late Remsen C. Barnard, III and Adele Chambers Barnard.
R.C. had been employed for many years as a sales agent for Wharton and Barnard Inc. He enjoyed fishing, crabbing, and painting with watercolors. He was a member of the Jefferson Lodge #15 in Lewes, and at one time was a drummer in the band called "Blues Gems."
Survivors include his sister Susanne E. Barnard of Milford, DE; four half-brothers: Rem Barnard, IV and wife Vera of Walnut Creek, CA, Tom Barnard, Bill Barnard and wife Dianne, J.D. Barnard and wife Diana, all of Milford, DE; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, August 24, 2012, at 11:00 AM, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE. Burial will be private at the Milford Community Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity of choice.
