I was blessed to be able and officiate at Rich & Cindy's wedding. I worked some with him when he was at Disney and I was with WWF. When we would come to Orlando to wrestle, Rich would bring some of the cast members of Disney Shows to meet with some of our wrestlers. He also saved my life!!!! We were out to dinner in Orlando one evening and I choked on a piece of meat. Rich jumped up and did the Heimlich Maneuver on me and got the food to pop out so I could breathe again. Always have a special place in my heart for Rich & Cindy. RIP dear friend.....
Sending all my love to Cindy, Jennifer, Heather and grandkids. Rich loved you more than anything, and his legacy will live on through all of you.

Brother, you left us too soon, there was so much we didn’t do, it saddens me, but I’m grateful for all the time we’ve spent together. I’m going to miss you-- your laugh, your stories, your life and wrestling adventures. We’ve had some memorable times together as a family. It’s amazing the impact you have made and the many lives you’ve touched personally and professionally, seldom do people touch so many lives like you have. Lawry’s Restaurant will never be the same, you know that right? I hope to see you someday in the meantime, until then I’ll love you forever, I’ll think of you often and never ever forget you. Love you brother, your sister, Linda.
Rich had such a gift for hospitality. He wanted everyone around him to be at ease, having a good time and feeling happy. "How you doin'?", "What can I get you?", "What would you like to do?" were the first words out of his mouth when you met him. He put others before himself, joking with you and laughing at himself. And, as others have said, he was never at a loss for a story to tell. He could mesmerize me with tales if his adventures. If I had not know him to be an honest man, I would never have believed half of them. Even though he's gone, he still makes me laugh! Prayers for comfort and peace for you, Cindy, and his girls.
