Harry Kaplan
My name is Harry Kaplan, and I was a friend and classmate of Hal's at Swarthmore High School. To put it simply, I always felt good when I was with him. Swarthmore was a very tight-knit community, and so most of my classmates had grown up together and been schoolmates practically since kindergarten. I came to Swarthmore only in my high school years, and Hal was one of a group there who went out of their way to welcome me and help me feel that I belonged. I will always remember his kindness and friendship.
