Richard “Dick” “PoppaDu” DuLaney, age 88, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020 following a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. He was surrounded by family at his home in Bethany Beach, DE. He was born on October 22, 1932 in Read Obituary
I am so sorry, my dad said so sorry too, the good ole days of ocean city trips, upper marlboro school days, visits from Mr and Mrs Dulaney. May he rest now in heaven, and may the whole family be at peace one day at a time. Many hugs. Carole Reb
I am so grateful to have had time with my very handsome Uncle Dick during our visits to your warm and welcoming home in Bethany. He was always so kind, even running out to grab hoagies to feed us lunch. His train room brought back wonderful family memories and his Nativity will remain the best reflection of his faith and love for family. I am so sad to think he is really gone, but so happy he is free from this devastating Alzheimer’s. He is now reborn into his heavenly family. God bless you all. Love, Mary Ruth

Uncle Richard is resting gently now in the good Lord’s arms. Our heartfelt sympathies to Aunt Anne and the DuLaney Children. His kind, gentle, fun loving spirit will be greatly missed by us all. He truly was a gentleman and a scholar. We can only imagine the heavenly reunion that occurred on Monday. God speed Uncle Dick!
