Richard Walter Carbonara's Obituary
Richard Walter Carbonara, of Milton, Delaware, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on November 14, 1947, in St. Louis County, Missouri, to the late Joseph M. Carbonara Sr. and Dorothy L. Corell.
Richard was a graduate of Salesianum School, Class of 1965, and went on to attend the University of Scranton, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 1969.
Richard spent his career in banking, working as a bank officer since 1969. He was known for his strong work ethic, dedication, and kindness to those around him.
He enjoyed boating on the Chesapeake Bay, bowling, and golfing, and treasured the time he spent with family and friends.
Richard is survived by his loving wife, Pamela M. Carbonara (Eddy); his son, Michael Carbonara and wife Wendy; his daughter, Stephanie Kyle; His sister Jeanne Sutton. His stepdaughter, Kimberly Casale and husband Anthony. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Taylor Kyle, Nicole Kyle, Cole E. Kyle III, Abigail Kyle, Samantha Carbonara-Galan and wife Kaycee, Lauren Carbonara, Mia K. Casale, Anthony Casale, John Casale, and Carson Casale; great-grandchildren Richard Simpson and Lisha Kyle; his sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Bill McKinnon; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph M. Carbonara Jr.
