I was so very sorry to hear of Dick's passing. Dick was both a good friend and shipmate. I have seldom known a man more dedicated to the tasks he undertook on behalf of the Auxiliary and his mates. He was always ready to help and then some. He volunteered on numerous occasions to serve as our commander helping our flotilla to survive and grow. He was a respected leader and a reliable and very good friend. Dick will be sorely missed. God bless you all.
