Richard Eugene Boucher's Obituary
Richard "Dick" E. Boucher, 77, of Laurel MD and Lewes, DE passed away peacefully on Friday, December 14, 2012, at Bayhealth Medical Center in Milford, DE. He was born in Fall River, Massachusetts on July 27, 1935 to parents, Blanche Brodeur and Charles Boucher. He was a twenty year veteran of the Air Force, retiring as a Master Sergeant, in 1972. He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Dorothy T. Boucher, stepdaughter Lisa H. Johnson, stepson-in-law Tim Johnson, step-granddaughters Amanda Johnson and Kayla Johnson, and stepsister in-law Kay T. Hoyle.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lola W. Lohman and is survived by a stepson John Lohman, step-granddaughters Lola Campi and Linda Redmond, and many step-great grandchildren.
Dick served honorably in the Air Force, including tours in Germany, The Philippine Islands, Alaska and Vietnam. He was awarded many commendations and ribbons for his service to this country. He was a lifetime member in AFSA, DAV, VFW, AMVETS, and the American Legion Post 60 in Laurel, MD.
He had many interests, including photography, model train displays, Presidential Memorabilia and enjoying the company of his many friends and family members. He will always be remembered, loved and missed by all who knew him.
A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held at The American Legion Post 60 in Laurel, MD at 2:30 P.M. on January 19th. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a date to be announced. Arrangements by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Lewes, DE.
