Dear Ed, I have never seen you so happy as you were with Jeannie. In every picture and every time I saw you together there was a big smile on your face. I can only imagine your heartbreak in losing her.
I was only in Jeanne's company a few times but she always made me laugh and I thought she was a delight. I don't think I will ever go to the Legion without thinking of her.
