I worked across the street from Mrs. Dodd's home. I was fortunate to know Mrs. Dodd who was a kind and thoughtful woman. She loved her plants and she shared several with me. She invited me for lunch several times and I had a a wonderful time listening to her stories. We laughed and conversed about many things. Even though there was a 30 year difference in our ages, I was blessed to call her a friend. God bless!
Dear Bill and Ronnie - I am so very sad that Becky is gone. She was a true and loyal friend of my mother, Dorothy Elliott, visiting her long after her memory had gone. And I, in turn, enjoyed visiting with her over the last few years and having her catch me up on all the old-time Georgetowners. I'll miss her. To Ron and Bill, I am so very sorry to hear of Becky's passing. She was such a vibrant, happy, smart lady. She made everyone who met her feel like so much more! Bill, I remember she drove us on a "date" to the 5th grade dance at the Georgetown Armory! Now THAT is going back a few years.
