Mr. Hitch honorably served his country as a member of the US Coast Guard. Mr. Hitch was an avid rabbit and fox hunter and enjoyed watching a good football game or cheering Dale Earnhardt on to another NASCAR race victory. More than anything he had a passion for family and being there to support them and cheer them on. From his daughters many horse shows growing up, fishing with his son or attending his grandchildren’s many sports games today, he never missed a blink. Mr. Hitch loved to entertain friends and family and they loved his entertainment, he had a sense of humor that would make anyone’s stomach hurt from laughing so hard. Mr. Hitch was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and dear friend who’s love and laughter will be missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his aunt and uncle, Mr. Hitch was preceded in death by his three brothers: Marvin, Wayne and Bob Adams. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 48 years, Mary E.
