Ray and I were co-workers at a David Taylor Navy Research and Development Center for over 30 years. Ray was a very smart engineer and very dedicated to his work. In the latter years of our careers, we worked together on a special assignment at Navy Headquarters in the Pentagon where we helped to shape and manage the Navy-wide Science and Technology programs for logistics. I enjoyed working with Ray and I am proud of what we accomplished for the Navy. Although Ray is no longer with us, his family can be proud that his life's work for the US Navy is and will be keeping the Navy at the forefront of technology.

My best friend of more than 45 years who was like a brother to me. Ray and I were there for each other many times when it was a life or death situation. We could communicate with each other for hours at a time. Ray was one of the most giving persons that I ever met. He was very active in his community and helped hundreds of people in AA. Without mentioning names, he would tell me what he did to help the people in AA. I was a very strong supporter of Ray's involvement in AA and attended a few of the meetings. The happiest time of Ray's life is when he met Beth and his many trips with her. I will have many crying sessions remembering Ray and hope that he will be one the first people that I meet in heaven.
