Raymond Scott Bradley's Obituary
Raymond Scott Bradley, age 59 of Rehoboth Beach, DE, passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2021, at his home. He was born on December 10, 1961, in Newport, RI, son of the late Raymond Bradley and Grace (Marburger) Goeller.
Raymond grew up in and around Kingston, and Hudson Valley, NY. He built a career as a talented chef and baker, but was really a jack of all trades. He held many different jobs during his lifetime, including painter and daycare provider, and he was also an extremely talented graphic designer and musician.
In his spare time, Raymond could be found (or more often, couldn’t be found) getting lost in nature. His love for the earth and its tranquility kept him in the forest, under the stars, swimming in streams, and connecting with nature as much as possible. He loved to camp, build gigantic bonfires, and find a good swimming hole whenever he could. Raymond was known as a free spirit and will be remembered for his kind soul and genuine heart. Approaching everyone he met with an open heart and mind, he never met a stranger and loved making new friends and spending time with his family. Raymond will forever be missed by all who knew him.
Raymond is survived by his son, Derek Bradley (Amanda) of Highland, NY; his siblings: Robinson Bradley (Eileen) of Kingston, NY, Bryan Bradley (Kim) of Bonita Springs, FL, Linda-Su Mabey (Michael) of Port Ewen, NY, Steven Goeller (Debbie) of Garner, NC, and Peter Goeller of Denton, TX; his lifelong friends and partners in crime: Norman Deising and John Costa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Raymond’s Life will be held at a later date.
