Randy Lee Willis' Obituary
Randy Lee Willis, age 74, of Dagsboro, DE passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024. Born in York, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late George Willis, Sr. and Edith Willis (Kottcamp).
Randy completed his high school education before pursuing a trade school apprenticeship, ultimately becoming a skilled plumber and pipefitter. His dedication to his craft was evident in every project he undertook.
On May 16, 1997, Randy married the love of his life, Kamaie Staley-Willis during the vibrant Myrtle Beach Bike Week in South Carolina, a testament to his passion for motorcycling and adventure. He was an avid motorcyclist, enjoyed boating, and cherished his time spent hunting and fishing, finding joy in the great outdoors.
At both the mountain house and the beach house, Randy’s spirit of creativity thrived. He was always adding on or building something new for family gatherings. His projects were a testament to his love for the outdoors and his desire to bring family together, providing countless opportunities for laughter and connection.
Above all, Randy valued the moments he shared with friends and family. His spirit will live on in the stories we share, the memories we hold dear, and the moments we spent together. Though he is no longer with us, the impact he made on our lives will forever be cherished. May we honor his legacy by embracing life with the same passion and joy he exemplified every day.
In addition to his parents, Randy was predeceased by his daughter, Jennifer Lee Young (Willis) of York, PA; his 4 brothers, George Willis, Jr, Conrad Willis , Larry Willis, all of York, PA, and Phillip Willis of Dallastown, PA; and 1 sister, Susan Eckenrode of York, PA . He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Kamaie Staley-Willis, and his granddaughter Brittany Miller of York, PA.
A celebration of Randy ’s life will be held at a later date.
