Randy Dewain Brewster's Obituary
Randy Dewain Brewster, 54, joined other divas in that heavenly chorus on Easter Sunday, March 27, 2016, to now more fully share in the resurrection. Randy died peacefully at home, comforted by his precious dog Baxter.
Born in Washington, D.C., Randy moved to Rehoboth Beach 15 years ago, where he discovered real family who love him for the uniquely beautiful person God created him to be.
A skilled financial specialist with nearly 30 years of problem solving experience, Randy worked tirelessly over the last decade for Right Property Management. He shared his passion for music widely, including on a chorus trip to the Holy Land, and was a member of the parish choir of All Saints' Church and St. George's Chapel, the Mixed Blessings chorus, and formerly the Southern Delaware Choral Society, the Clear Space Chorus, and several D.C.-area choirs. Randy was a gourmet and a faithful and generous weekly guest at several local restaurants, and is beloved for his brilliant wit.
Randy leaves a large acquired family of loved ones to grieve his sudden passing, including his All Saints' parish family, companions Joe Pinto and John Klenert, and business parents Martha and Jerry Wright.
All are invited to celebrate Randy's life Saturday, April 9, at 11 a.m. at All Saints' Church, 18 Olive Ave., Rehoboth Beach, with a reception to follow in the parish hall. Donations to the parish's music fund may be contributed in his name to the above address.
Area choristers who wish to participate in Randy's service are asked to contact parish Director of Music Jackson Borges at 302-227-7202 Ext. 108 or [email protected].
