Randall Gene Feher's Obituary
Randall Gene Feher, 63, Lewes, Delaware, departed this life on June 30, 2018, Milford, Delaware.
A longtime resident of Lewes and local builder whose talents are on display throughout Sussex County, Randy was an expert carpenter who was most comfortable wearing a tool belt and wielding a hammer. He was a voracious reader, a brilliant draftsman, and had a keen sense of humor. Randy was the master of his own destiny and lived his life on his own terms.
He is survived by his loving, patient and constant companion, Dorothy Horack; his mother, Margaret Mercner now of Venice, Florida; his father, Charles Backus, Sr. of Columbus, Ohio; his sisters: Susan Thompson of Galloway, New Jersey and Shelly Talmo of Phoenix, Arizona; and his brother, Charles Backus, Jr. of Springboro, Ohio.
Randy was preceded in death by his brothers: Robert Feher, Jr. and Richard Lee Owens, both of Warren, Ohio.
A private memorial service is planned.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a contribution to Delaware Hospice: 100 Patriots Way; Milford, Delaware 19963.
