Philip C. Paul's Obituary
Philip C. Paul, age 70 of Ocean View, DE, and formerly of Alexandria, VA, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes. He was born on June 19, 1952, in Pittsburgh, PA, son of the late Philip C, II and Mary Ellen (Grgurich) Paul.
Philip built a lifelong career in accounting and customer services.
Phil enjoyed traveling with his husband and friends, especially abroad. He always wanted to visit and explore new places. Everyone who knew him, realized he liked shopping, and was excited about the newest and latest fashions and trends. Phil loved the Christmas season, especially decorating, and all the festivities that brought family and friends close together. He had an impressive collection of glass ornaments. Above all, Phil cherished time with those he held most dear. He was a loving and devoted husband, brother, uncle, and friend. Loved by many, he will be deeply and genuinely missed by all who had the good fortune to know him.
Mr. Paul is survived by his beloved husband of 41 years, Keith A. Gorney of Ocean View; his brother, Jeffrey Paul (Patricia) of McKees Rocks, PA; his beloved niece, Jennifer Paul; his sister, Joan Mochnick (Bill) of McKees Rocks, PA; his loyal canine companions: Garbo and Harlow; and his big feline fur baby, Bösa.
