Perry Lee Vance's Obituary
Perry Lee Vance of Millsboro, age 48, tragically passed in an automobile accident on May 16, 2025. He was a beloved Emergency Vehicle Operator (EVO) with Lifestar Response, Georgetown Base. He was born in Richlands, VA, on February, 28, 1977, son of Bonnie Willey, and the late Charles Vance.
Perry dedicated more than 20 years to a life of service behind the wheel of an ambulance, working for both private and 911 emergency response companies. He joined the Lifestar family in 2009, and his commitment and professionalism became an example to all who worked beside him. His presence, reliability, and calm strength will be sorely missed.
Perry was not only a dedicated EMS professional, but a man of many passions. He found joy in riding his Harley, spending quiet mornings fishing, and being surrounded by his family and his two loyal dogs, Trauma and Ambo.
A proud graduate of Wicomico High School’s Class of 1996, Perry made his home in Longneck, Delaware with his wife of 11 years, Nicole Vance. Their life together was filled with love, laughter, and devotion to their family. Perry was fiercely devoted to his daughter, Adilynn, and his step-son, Cody Becker. Above all else, he was a family man—loving, supportive, and strong.
Perry is survived by his wife, Nicole; his daughter, Adilynn Vance; his step-son, Cody Becker; his mother; and a large extended family of nieces, nephews, and friends. He also leaves behind his Lifestar Response family, who will forever cherish his memory and honor his legacy.
He is preceded in death by his father and his sisters, Betty Vance and Carol "Sissy" Brown.
A Celebration of Perry’s life will be announced at a later date.
