Penny Leigh Todd's Obituary
Penny L Todd, of Laurel, DE, died Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Tidal Health Nanticoke in Seaford, DE. She was born on May 18, 1962, to Donald Rust and Sandra Rust in Salisbury, Maryland.
Penny graduated from SCHS in 1980 and has had several careers throughout her life, among them are Sales at Hertrich in Seaford, Assistant store manager for Sears, Assistant Manager for Gold Key Resorts and most recently she had her own crafting business called Granny Penny's Treasures. Penny had a wide range of hobbies which included canning and gardening. She would frequently share the veggies from her garden with her neighbors, but she disliked eating them herself. She enjoyed hosting karaoke parties at her pool and decorating her yard for every holiday. Most of all she loved having adventures with her grandson. Penny was a caring soul dearly loved by all her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all those who had the fortune to know her.
She is preceded in death by her father Donald Rust, stepfather Michael W. Kelly, and brother Pepper Lee Rust. Penny is survived by her devoted husband Rickie L. Todd; mother Sandra L. Kelly; daughter Cameron L. Morgan; grandson Phoenix L. Morgan and her niece Savannah Rust.
