Peggy M. Kirby, age 67, of Lewes, DE passed away Saturday, June 1, 2013 after a courageous battle with a brain tumor, at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, DE. She was born July 31, 1945, daughter of the late Daniel and Margaret Read Obituary

My prayers go out to Ms. Kirby's family. "Pk" as some of us called her, was a total inspiration to me, she helped me realize just how much I loved to twirl a flag. With out her, I wouldn't have met the friends I have, and wouldn't have acomplished what I did. Thanks PK! Love you always!

Mrs Kirby you have taught me so much I'm gonna miss u. You never gave up on me when I first started flags and I know that's what u did now is faught every day. Hope ur looking out for me up there tell all my family hi and that I miss them. Love ya you have always been like a second mom to me.

I can't begin to tell you what Peggy meant to me. I am saddened that she has been taken from all of us so soon.
Knowing Peggy's zest for life she wouldn't have wanted her death any other way.
The memories that I have of our time together will keep me laughing for a long time. Those that rode the bus to Cleveland would say that is one our favorite stories.
