Paul F. Wallner's Obituary
Paul Frederick Wallner passed away January 23, 2020 in Milford, DE. He was born on November 27, 1939 in Havre, MT to Gwendolyn and Ernest Wallner.
Paul was a loving husband, father and grandfather (Pepaw). He leaves behind a loving and loved family. Paul was married to Diane Wallner for 56 years and they have two daughters: Leslie Trapin and Abigail Wallner; three grandchildren: Jackson and Stella Trapin and Montana Jones. He is also survived by his brother, Edwin Wallner; his sister, Ernestine Olson; and his niece, Tanya Olson.
Paul was an intelligence officer in the United States Army. Paul graduated from New Mexico Military Institute, University of Montana and George Washington University. He attended JFK School of Government at Harvard University and the NATO Defense College in Rome Italy. Paul was in the senior executive service and a public servant for 43 years with the Department of Defense.
The family extends their gratitude to the Delaware Veterans Home for all the care and love they gave Paul.
Paul will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
