Paul J. Sennett's Obituary
Paul J. Sennett, age 72, of Lewes, DE, formerly of Duanesburg, NY, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 15, 2016 his home. He was born on April 23, 1943 in Schenectady, NY, son of the late Paul J. and Joan (Kaye) Sennett.
Mr. Sennett graduated from Siena College in Loudonville, NY with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. After graduation, he proudly served for the U.S. Navy. Following his honorable discharge, Mr. Sennett continued his education at Albany University where he received his Master's degree in Psychology. He began his career working for the New York State Department of Corrections as a Psychologist at the Woodbourne Correctional Facility in Ellenville, MD. After 12 years, Mr. Sennett transitioned careers and started working stock trading and financial investing.
Mr. Sennett was an extremely talented tennis player. During his years, in the military, he enjoyed beating the Navy Officers at their base. He was also a gifted carpenter, who built beautiful bird houses which looked like works of art. Mr. Sennett adored his canine companions, Harold and Buddy, who he loved like children.
Mr. Sennett is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Janet Sennett; two sisters: Julie Liss of Schenectady, NY and Edie Sennett-Jozwiak and her husband, Richard, of Schenectady, NY; a sister-in-law, Susan Kearns of Chestertown, MD; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
