Dear Nancy and family:
I was so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. He was a great member of our board at the YMCA in Sussex and I truly enjoyed his humor and outlook on things. He will be in my thoughts and prayers. Please take the best of care.
I worked with Paul at WPVI-TV and there was never a more gracious, more pleasant and cooperative co-worker. A class act in every sense of the word.
However, when he got together with Larry Ferrari and Captain and Mrs. Noah, trouble (in a good way) would ensue!! I still laugh at that thought of that crew!
I had the privilege of working with Paul in the 1980s at WPVI-TV. He was a classic broadcaster who could adapt to any job, no matter what the circumstance - from staff announcer to Delaware expert to program creator. Together, we invented the public affairs series Inside Story (then with Marc Howard). Throughout my career, I have tried to emulate Paul's good humor and professionalism in the face of constant change -- just a few of the qualities that made Paul so special to so many people.
As a young man growing up in Delaware County Penna.,how well I remember Paul as one of our local t.v. weather forcasters.I am so fortunate to have met Paul much later in life here in Rehoboth Beach. We have lost a wonderful human being and he will be profoundly missed...
Dear Nancy,
We were both very saddened to read of Paul's passing. He was a great guy and a wonderful friend. I'll miss his quick wit and wonderful stories about his work and his recovery. I'll try, if at all possible to be in Lewes for the service but if not you will all be in our prayers.
Yours in Recovery,
Ted and Rosemary
