On April 21, 2023, Paul H. Mylander passed peacefully at home in Lewes, DE. Born on April 14, 1943, in Baltimore, he lived in Towson, Maryland until his family relocated to their family farm on the eastern shore at Love Point on K Read Obituary
Paul and I attended the Academy together and sat next to each other in assemblies, study hall since our last names were similar in spelling ( Murphy/Mylander). Back then, I lived in Easton and we shared rides back and forth to school. One memory that stands out was when he jumped out of a plane over the football field during Homecoming and parachuted in to the field during the game. Obviously, he was suspended for a few days but it was well worth it and it showed what type of guy he was, always full of life. Rest in peace my friend.

So sorry to hear about Paul’s passing. He was a wonderful person with a great sense of humor and an important leader for Sussex County and all of Delaware. He leaves a great legacy of contributions to his community and to all of us.

Although my time was slight with Paul in person, I quickly absorbed that “sparkle” of deepest love in the eyes and voices of Paul & Pat..singly referencing each other or observing them in dialogue! This made my heart so happy for my dear friend, Pat🌹. That richness will carry you through, my friend. Your life was truly blessed in your marriage to Paul. What a guy!

Paul always kept people on their toes. His quick wit and fun banter put smiles on the faces of many. I enjoyed working with Paul through his generous time spent serving his community on the Beebe Board of Directors. Thank you Paul; you will be fondly remembered.
This is Jacquie DiMisa. Pat and I met about 35 years ago when we both worked at Ward & Klein. My husband, John, and Paul are the same age, and once the 4 of us got together, we all became fast friends. We added in the Glaudemans and the Heckels, took the initials from our last names, and the 4 couples became know as the DIGHMs. We even have a DIGHM logo and golf trophy. Over the years, we have shared countless wonderful times together, and we cherish those memories. Paul was always a generous host (Pat too) and a lot of fun to be with. We will miss him dearly and feel lucky that we shared some of our life's journey with him. Love you, Paul. Rest in peace.
Paul was a true blue ETSU BUCCANEER. He served on the alumni association board and as a volunteer leader in the D.C. for the university. Always a loyal friend and mentor. God Speed and Prayers for strength and peace for his family. Bob Plummer
