Our beloved Paul K. Ewell, age 91, departed this life on May 8, 2023, after bravely battling Parkinson's disease for many years. He was born on February 17, 1932, in Philadelphia, PA, son of the late Paul and Celia Ewell.
A long-time resident of Baltimore, MD, Paul was a veteran of the U.S. Navy; serving in the Korean conflict. He had a lifelong career as a drywall contractor, took much pride in his profession, and was known for his incredible work ethic. In 1973 Paul married Ellen Roberts and enjoyed 50 years of marriage. They moved to Rehoboth Beach, DE in 1977.
Paul had many interests and hobbies. He attended Maryland Art Institute and studied under Frank Redelius. In addition, Paul enjoyed country music, guitar playing, and golf. He wrote a song that was professionally recorded and released as a 45 called Show Me Love. Playing music during the holidays was a family tradition that everyone enjoyed.
